NEW APPLICATION CENTRE & TRAINEE APPLICATION SYSTEM IN DEVELOPMENT
CT Hotels & Resorts, 17 August 2026
CT Hotels & Resorts, 17 August 2026
CT Hotels & Resorts is pleased to share further information regarding a major upcoming improvement to our recruitment and staff onboarding systems, the development of a completely new Application Centre, alongside a fully revamped Trainee Application for those interested in joining our hotel staff team.
Trainee Applications are currently temporarily closed while this new system is being developed and prepared for implementation. Once completed, the new Application Centre will replace the previous Roblox-based application process and introduce a significantly more structured, accessible and comprehensive way to apply for opportunities within CT Hotels & Resorts.
This development also provides an opportunity to review our existing Trainee system, ensure that current Trainees remain genuinely interested in progressing towards training, and bring older Trainee records in line with the standards and requirements now expected across our staff operations.
For many years, applications for the CT Hotels & Resorts hotel staff team have primarily been submitted through our dedicated Roblox Application Centre game.
As CT Hotels & Resorts has continued to grow, our recruitment, staff management and internal systems have also become considerably more advanced. The previous application process no longer provides the level of flexibility, structure and information that we believe is appropriate for the future of our recruitment operations.
The new Application Centre is therefore being developed as a dedicated web-based system designed to provide a more complete application experience.
Rather than simply submitting answers and waiting for a result, the new system is being designed to support a much clearer application journey, with improved application information, eligibility checks, identity verification, application review systems, and easier access to application status and results.
The system is also being designed with future expansion in mind. While the Trainee Application will be the first application introduced through the new Application Centre, the platform will be capable of supporting additional CT Hotels & Resorts applications and opportunities where required.
The introduction of the new Application Centre will also bring the largest update made to the Trainee Application in several years.
Previous applications focused primarily on basic questions regarding behaviour, grammar, preferred roles and general interest in joining the staff team. While these questions helped establish a basic understanding of applicants, our current staff operations now involve significantly clearer responsibilities, procedures and expectations.
The revamped Trainee Application is being designed to give both applicants and Management a much better understanding of whether an individual is genuinely suitable and prepared to join the staff team.
Applicants will be asked about areas including their relevant experience, preferred hotel role and suitability for that role, communication, teamwork, personal strengths, availability, commitment, situational judgement, understanding of staff expectations, relevant outside involvement and potential conflicts of interest.
Importantly, applicants will also be clearly informed of the responsibilities and expectations associated with becoming a CT Hotels & Resorts staff member before they submit their application.
This includes awareness of the Staff Guidelines, applicable rules and policies, attendance and absence requirements, communication expectations, training commitments, professionalism, reliability and the responsibility to genuinely contribute after joining the staff team.
The purpose of these changes is not simply to make applications longer or more difficult. Instead, they are intended to ensure that applicants understand what they are applying for, can make an informed decision about whether the staff team is suitable for them, and provide Management with more meaningful information when reviewing applications.
The new system is also being developed with improved eligibility and identity verification in mind.
Where possible, the Application Centre will be designed to confirm important applicant information and eligibility requirements before an individual begins the full application process. This will help prevent applicants from completing an application only to later discover that they do not meet a fundamental requirement.
The system is also intended to improve the accuracy and organisation of applicant records, allowing previous applications and relevant CT Hotels & Resorts history to be taken into consideration more effectively during reviews.
Together, these improvements aim to create a fairer, clearer and more reliable recruitment process for both applicants and Management.
Alongside development of the new Application Centre, CT Hotels & Resorts is also carrying out a one-time review and cleanup of the existing Trainee rank.
Over the years, a large number of individuals have received the Trainee rank but never completed training or continued through the onboarding process. Some existing Trainees were also accepted under much older application systems, including before the introduction of our current Staff Guidelines and many of the requirements now expected from staff members.
To ensure that the Trainee rank accurately represents individuals who are still genuinely interested in becoming staff, current Trainees were asked on 9 August 2026 to confirm whether they wish to continue.
Those choosing to remain Trainees are expected to understand the applicable Staff Guidelines, rules, responsibilities and expectations, demonstrate reasonable communication and initiative, and make genuine attempts to progress towards training rather than remaining indefinitely inactive.
The confirmation deadline is Sunday, 23 August 2026. Trainees who do not confirm their continued interest by this deadline will have their Trainee rank removed.
Removal as part of this initial cleanup will not, by itself, prevent an individual from applying again in the future. Once the new Application Centre and Trainee Application are released, those who remain interested may submit a new application provided they meet the applicable eligibility requirements.
This review will help ensure that the Trainee system moves forward with individuals who are genuinely interested, active and prepared to meet the standards expected of future staff members.
While development and preparation of the new system continues, Trainee Applications remain temporarily closed.
Applications will reopen alongside or following the release of the new Application Centre and revamped Trainee Application. A confirmed release date has not yet been announced, and further information will be shared once the system is ready.
Those interested in joining the CT Hotels & Resorts hotel staff team in the future are encouraged to remain part of our community and follow official announcements through our Discord Server for updates regarding the reopening of applications. We are actively working to complete and introduce the new Application Centre and aim to reopen Trainee Applications as soon as possible.
The new Application Centre represents another significant step in the continued development of CT Hotels & Resorts’ internal systems.
Our goal is to create a recruitment process that is more organised, transparent and informative from the moment someone considers applying through to application review, training and eventual staff onboarding.
By introducing improved application questions, clearer expectations, stronger eligibility checks and better applicant management, we aim to ensure that future staff members join with a genuine understanding of their responsibilities and are better prepared to contribute successfully to hotel operations.
At the same time, the current Trainee review will allow us to move forward with a more accurate and active Trainee group that reflects the standards expected under our current systems.
Further information regarding the new Application Centre, revamped Trainee Application and reopening of Trainee Applications will be announced as development progresses.
